Chinese in Entertainment is excited to host a live Speaker Series Q&A Discussion with the Cast of Mulan on September 12 at 2 PM PDT. To celebrate the Disney live-action film MULAN and continue supporting the Chinese heritage community, CIE invites 5 starring casts of the movie, Tzi Ma, Jimmy Wong, Rosalind Chao, Ron Yuan, Chen Tang, to the webinar moderated by Coca Xie. Facebook live streaming will also be available.
In this panel, you will expect to hear our guests’ experiences with the movie, such as their casting process and set stories. Besides, the panel will also discuss topics related to Chinese and Asian American culture, such as Mulan's impact on the social zeitgeist, Asian representation in Hollywood, and cultural differences.

Mulan is about an epic tale of China’s legendary female warrior Hua Mulan. As the eldest child in the family, she masquerades as a man, taking the place of her ailing father, going to the Imperial Army to defend the country from Northern invaders. Mulan features many experienced Asain American actors.
